TD Engine bay
Baxter:
Hi.
My Iltis TD (AAZ) conversion is going relativley well, however, I just wondered if anyone had a picture of the TD engine bay to see what one is meant to look like!
So far the conversion is using lots of different parts from lots of different engines!
AAZ engine.
GTD Exhaust manifold and turbo.
Audi oil filter head.
Iltis sump and pick up pipe (obviously)
AAZ windage tray.
I'm struggling to find the part number of the pipe between the air box and the turbo in ETKA.
I found the hard way that you have to grind a lump from the engine block to allow the starter motor to fit.
I would just be interested to see a real one! Also very interested in how the alternator mounts.
:)
Simon.
Baxter:
Anyone have the part number or a picture of the TD air intake?
I cannot find it in ETKA.
MacSchreck:
Hi Simon,
here we are: "All pipes great and small..." :)
Absolutely no number or code on it. I did not find it in ETKA, too.
Greetings
Markus
