Titel: Radiator fan switch orientation?
Beitrag von: Baxter am 27. Februar 2011, 22:27
Does the high speed fan switch or the low speed fan switch go at the top of the radiator??
Not had the fans on yet, just want to check the system is set up correctly before I worry!
Is it a case of 1 fan works for the low speed and both fans work for the high speed?

both fans have same power and speed
only first models had one weaker fan motor (or just one)

first fan to start, is the left one
so the switch to trigger it, is the top one, since it gets hotter first

both switchs have the same release temp.

So, bridging the top switch will cause the left fan to work.
I think it is the wrong way around on mine.
I will swap the wires over.
Thanks.

bridging the top switch will cause the left fan to work.

thats all right so... left is first to go, top ist first to heat up
