okay.
So, this may sound silly to some of you.
Which is the correct way to take the roof down?
I see some pictures and the roof is down, and folded very very neatly, when we try it, it looks rubbish!!
We have also torn a eyelet from the body as we left the hood attached to the body, I take it this is a bad idea... :lol

Baxter,
I follow the instructions given in the TDv (call it the military manual), section 2.1.3.15, pictures 108 to 117.
Important:
Fold the rear and sideparts very (very) carefully so that these lay flat on the top section.
When I do it alone, without help from my wife, it takes me 20 to 25 minutes.

Thank you!

... and take a photograph of your hood when it's properly folded and rolled ;-))

Ha, that won't be for months!
Need to get some good olive doors first!
My flecktarn ones just don't look right, plus one zip is siezed and one is broken.

Accepted, Baxter,
I also put my hood on last week and will fold it down in spring. The car normally stays open from april/may to october/november.

You don't live on a rainy island....

And in the hills, where it rains more than normal!
