Titel: placing of tactical sign

when i was sanding down the front of my Iltis, i found a tactical sign under the front window:

I never saw this before, the pictures always show this sign on the left front side of the hood, didn't the army had rules for the placement of these signs?

..the army hass rules for it, but the position varies...
In most cases left front side of the hood, but sometimes in front of the windscreen...

in your case: Army air defence, 6th batterie. The big question is: Which number is right of the box ? That will tell us the regiment aud the old garrison where your ILTIS served in his early army years before his MP-time and his duty in Castel Martin.

Hello Uwe,

I think you mistaken me for baxter, I am André, I live in holland, you sent me some info about my car in the past(which I can't find anymore :-( ).
The sign zoomed in:

I think the number on the right is 1, there is also a little stripe on the top.

don´t know why I mixed you both....

Now it´s clear, that is ADA Regiment 1 in Hannover-Langenhagen
Closed in 1993.
