Ah, I understand what you mean now.
The AAZ engine does not have the BOV (Blow Off Valve) it's a silly item and VW realised it was a problematic piece of junk and did away with it for the later engines, thankfully.
I recently bought a tool for making "beads" on the end of tube

and having another look at the pictures above I may look harder for the aluminium bend as the radius does not look that tight.
